Purpose.Chronic prostatitis(CP)is one of the most debatable problemsin urology, due to the lack of common approaches to the interpretation of the pathogenesis of this disease, the objectification of patient testing and the complexity of therapy. For the treatment of CP proposed a wide range of physiotherapy treatments. One of the methods of physiotherapeutic effects that improve blood circulation in the pelvic organs and thereby increase the bioavailability of drugs is low-intensity shock-wave therapy (LI-ESWT).

Outpatient examinations are followed with urgent necessity of urine analysis, since this procedure is required for diagnostics, evaluation of disease dynamics and also for the control of the effectiveness of treatment. A new level of modern diagnostics has become available with the use of a portable urine analyzer «ETTA AMP-01». Application of this device helps to obtain accurate and objective information regarding the condition of a patient’s urinary tracts, make a plan of appropriate examination and choose the strategy of treatment.

Introduction. Prevention of reproductive disorders implies monitoring of the reproductive health of the population, especially in the regions with high level of anthropogenic pollution of the environment. Male fertility (the ability to conceive) is mainly determined by the quality of sperm cells, so that sperm studies is a prominent stage in clinical andrology, reproductive toxicology and epidemiology. The aim of this study was to evaluate the reproductive capacity and its hormonal correlates in a group of young males from Kemerovo.

Nowadays the data revealing relationship between chronic bacterial prostatitis (CBP) and androgen suppression is lacking. The aim of the study was to provide the pathogenetic explanation of the CBP role in the development of the androgen deficiency (AD) in fertile patients.
